Registered Midwives

Midwives respect pregnancy as a state of health and childbirth as a normal process. Midwives promote decision-making as a shared responsibility and encourage women to actively participate in all aspects of their care. Midwives focus on the appropriate use of technology and preventing complications. Midwives respect and support women so that they may give birth safely, with power and dignity.
